Something different

Saw some “pinwheel” steaks at the store stuffed with green and red peppers onions and cheese ....a healthy combination. 350 on the Joe Classic. We’ll see.

I'm predicting some deliciousness about to come off the grill.

InThePitBBQ 07-10-2019 07:59 PM

Yum! Those used to be a thing around here in the meat cases, haven't seen them is some time I always enjoyed them on a kettle grill.

Biloxidman 07-10-2019 08:05 PM

Not too bad! Nice way to use a lesser cut of beef. Only problem was the center on one cut was thick so when it was a nice medium the outer ring was more medium well. Good nonetheless.

Thanks! Was at the Shuckers game this evening. One hour delayed start then 3 innings before another feeder band came thru. Got a little damp running for the parking lot. Looks like inside cooking this weekend.

You should be ok. Looks like it’ll stay in Louisiana after it comes ashore.

Very nice!

Haven't seen a grill basket like that before. Where'd you get it?

I think I got it at Academy, but not sure. Comes in handy with fish.

Looks great. I make them myself with skirt steaks rolled up with the fillings. Then slice the sections after cooking.
