I've read a lot of this thread and thought I might give it a whirl, this is what I came up with. Best butts I have ever made. Also an excellent brisket cooker. Thanks for all the input, took all the guess work out.

Well you got the pic thing figured out!!!! What's the lid from ? Or did you make the cone shape

It's a 24 inch disk. You know, after the plow.

Nice use of them. I grew up in farm country in Oklahoma where those were plentiful. Can't find them here in AZ it seems. I want one for a discada.
