Lubbock, Texas, suggestions?

Came to town for a possible emergency surgery for the mother in law. I have my 3 teenage girls with me while the wife and FIL are at the hospital awaiting the decision. They’re letting me pick tonight? Any suggestions?

For BBQ: Evie Mae's the original location is open Wed-Sun and they have a new location open 7 days a week until 8PM on 114 and slide. Don't be scared away from Grocery Store BBQ. Top 10 bbq joint in Texas cooking on site, just a smaller menu for sides and desserts than the flagship location.

Tom and Bingos (not open for dinner)

Pitforks and Smoke Rings in nearby Slaton (not open for dinner)

Pizza: Capital Pizza or One Guy from Italy (Those Calzones are awesome)

Thai: Choo Chai and if you like hot ask for medium, if you like medium as for mild.

Mexican: Jaliscos or Montelongos

Burgers: Blue Sky or Spanky's

American: Caprock Cafe

Italian: Italian Garden or Orlandos (Italian with West Texas Flair)

For the BBQ I have video reviews on my YouTube Channel. http://www.youtube.com/bowersbarbecue
