Cooked on a stick burner for the first time today!

I ordered a Shirley 24x36 and got it first thing this past Sunday. I was able to fire it up today and smoked 2 racks of ribs. They came out *great*. The best ribs I've ever made. The fire got a little hot once, almost to 300, but I kept learning the smoker and the vast majority of the time the temp was right at 250.

Odd,,,,I could see all the pics yesterday and this AM all I can see I’d the perfectly cooked rib,,,,
Go figure

jhwhite 01-17-2021 07:56 AM

I was trying to link to pictures in my Google Photos. Imgur doesn't seem to work for me now, where are people hosting photos to share?

Cueford T. Justice 01-17-2021 07:57 AM

I could see both the smoker and the ribs yesterday, but today I see neither. Some guys above mentioned seeing grey circles. Are they talking about the grey circles that appear to the left by the “report post” triangle? I just noticed that some of us have grey circles and some have greenish circles. Related to this issue? Still trying to learn the how the brethren hangout works.

No pics for me, but congrats on the new cooker and successful ribs. With stick burners don’t sweat the temperature swings.

Inthewoods 01-17-2021 02:58 PM

It's incredibly satisfying ta try something ya want, but have never done before and nail it. It's a very underrated feeling. Congrats.

There doesn't seem ta be any pics...and that's not very courteous.

I'm not sure what's going on with the pictures but here's an imgur album.
