Tri tip cost
Hi guys,
I live in Pennsylvania and was going to do tri tips this weekend Local butchers were either 10 or 11.99 per pound, Seemed awfully steep to me. What is everyone paying in their areas. Thank you. |
Out here on the west coast it's about $5.99/6.99 a lb untrimmed on a daily basis.
$8 to $9 range in Orlando area for untrimmed.
$5.98 for choice here in Eastern Okla.
8 to 9 dollars is what I paid last weekend
I would say $10 is steep.
Found one for $3.99 on Monday in North Central MN and cooked it up.
In Bay Area Cali it's 6.99 normal price...3.99 on sale...you can get some fine steaks for 11/lb
$5.99 to $6.99 normally.
Got some select cuts that were well marbled for 3.99/lb. untrimmed from Winco in Sacramento. Choice cuts average 6.99/lb everywhere else.
Last time I got one I bought it at Zern's Farmers Market in Gilbertsville. $8.99/lb.
$6.99-$7.99 at Costco.
I can buy it on sale at a local store for $4.99 per lb. I think it is good quality .
Thank you. Thought it was steep. Will seek out another option for the weekend.
Have a great weekend |
