OK-I fess up.

I was a die-hard stick burner kinda guy.
Then I got to using DF's WSM in competetion.
Then I changed to Kingsford and chunks in the StudeDera.

OH- well--as DF says "I am moving to the dark side".

WSM will be here in a few days and will be part of our arsenal at Mobile in March!

Have not told Karen yet--she is due home in an hour.
If I disappear from the Forum, call the sherrif--OK

Ain't moving to the pellet level yet :twisted:

I was very jealous of Horn's WSM on Saturday. Had my Nu-Temps set up in the living room at his place... Sat and drank beer all day.

Oh, Tim knows! He's seen me go off to get a nap after setting up the WSM and when he wakes me up all I do is check the temp and get a cup of coffee and get ready to feed the Bandera while he gets a couple of hours!

The charcoal basket in the Tim's 'dera and some other mods Tim has made has really stabilzed his Studadera! The second WSM will just expand our capabilities. At Mobile we'll have 4 butts, three brisket, 4-6 racks of spares, and 15-20 pieces of chicken.

Bill, you can send me another WSM or Kettle - I won't mind and won't whine. Actually, what I'd like to have would be a Bradley smoker - wafers instead of pellets and an electric element -- great for small catering gigs! :twisted:

Originally when I got the Bandera, capacity and stick burning were a huge factor. Now, I really like the idea of being able to cook for the family without having to plan on a sleepless weekend.

There is definetly enough space on the balcony for both.

Where si the cheese ? Anyway I'm leaning real heavy towards the WSM myself. Capacity seems just right for our family size, just three of us left. Provided there is no returns fingers crossed

Congrats Tim! I've thought about one as well. Would be great for keeping the family (ok, the wife!) happy while while still smoking. And it would be good to take on camping trips.
