Carmela's First Year
 

I just logged in to update hubby's membership/subscription to the site....

I don't the chance to post as often ....with the crazy running around that having 5 kids involves. Baseball, soccer and Carmela's appointments keep me busy! But I do check in every once in a while.

Carmela turns 1 on Wednesday. It is hard to believe that a year has gone by. It is also hard to believe that we have made it this far. A beginning that was so very grim.... I believe with all of my heart that Carmela has some powerful purpose on this earth. And many angels looking over her.
Once you have hope, anything is possible.

We are blessed and grateful beyond measure.

Throughout this long year, this site has been a mental retreat and saving grace for Phillip(Guido) and I both. Proof that kindness and the support of true friends does still exist.

There's no other way to say it but....we love you all. Sorry if this is sappy, but I once again sit here with tears rolling down my face as I think of the kindness that you all have displayed to my family. Words cannot express.....

I know that this website has members worldwide , but I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who would like to share Carmela's special day with us. On Sunday April 5th, we are having a birthday party for Carmela. The details are on her website.

We have so much to be thankful for and wanted to share the day with the people we love. This includes all of Carmela's Uncles and Aunts. There are a few new pics of the princess on the website as well as party details .

Thanks for remembering Carmela and the rest of my family.

Each week, Carmela receives a few different forms of therapy which are helping as she grows. She has come such a long way. I can 't thank you and the rest of the Brethren enough for all your thoughts prayers and generosity. I'm honored and proud to call all of you my friends and brothers.
