^^^I really like that too, although I switch up the hot sauce a lot from whatever is good on hand. Pickapeppa is good too. Or just cheese and crackers, like a good smoked cheese.

That reminded me of one of my all time quick snack attack faves...Kipper snacks! I love those.

This time of year "trash". Which is what we call our homemade chex mix, kicked up a little with some tabasco or Lousiana hot sauce. Popcorn or nachos hit the spot as well.

Not a sweets guy either, but more of a hot, sour, spicy snack person. My wife grosses out at the snacks I make for me and the kids. They love this one. We love veggies, so, a couple cucumbers skinned and sliced, a couple sliced up maters, some celery, all in a bowl. Then I squeeze one whole lime over it all and hit it with seasoned salt. This last time I added a few new twists........sliced pickles, smoked oysters, and my son's favorite........those little pickled pearl onions. Gave it all a toss and hit it with some hot sauce.
Well, had my son on one side, my daughter on the other, we each had a toothpick for spearing and we dug in.
Let's see if you guys can guess what part of the whole snack, they battle for..............all the juice leftover at the end. Then, we go breathe on MOM!!

We also like sardines on saltines. Pickles. Hard boiled eggs with hot sauce. Slim Jims, and any of the trail mixes.

And beer for me. Beer is a snack, right?

I'm not much for snack either, I guess we never had them growing up, but two things i really really like is Popcorn with Simply marvelous Cherry sprinkled on it and Cheez-Its, the real ones not any knock off or store brand has to be Nabisco's..... I actually sat and ate a whole box before, with a few beers of course!

I have to agree with you there. I have however found an awesome pickle (thanks to food network), McClures Spicy pickles, handmade with 5-6 cloves of garlic, fresh dill, 1 cayenne pepper, and 1 habenero pepper with the cukes hand stuffed into the jar. Expensive ($12/qt jar), but oh so good. I figure that they are a 7 person company and it's all handmade (including cutting the pickles), so I don't feel too bad paying that much/jar.
