What better Satay Cooker for Mister Bob, than The Bobber Que! :-D It was a gift from my daughter and her fiance.

This thing is really very well designed and constructed. I can't wait to get it dirty.

Nice and bright, and it looks stout. What makes it a satay cooker as opposed to anything else?

Just the small size and proximity of the fuel to the cooking grid I guess. That's what I'll use it for any way. I'll post pics.

Nice score!
What is the diameter of it?
And is that red paint on the inside of the lid safe?
My Padawan scored a cheap little kettle ala Smokey Joe but it has red paint (I think powdercoated) on the inside of the lid.

Thanks, the diameter is 14"
According to the www.bobber-q-grill website, both base and lid are powder coated.
Weber also uses powder coat instead of paint, inside and out.

Thanks Mister!

This is the one that she scored.
The lid is very thin...I could bend it easily without putting too much pressure on it.
The grill grate felt very flexible as well.
Probably we're gonna grill it to death within a Phew sessions!:cool:
