I have been lurking here for a bit now and just got my smoker last month after wanting one for quite awhile.

I've done a lot on my grill but the smoker is so much better.

I post a lot of these pictures on Facebook and have had plenty of requests for my food which I'm working on making everyone happy with. I made a turkey a couple of weeks ago, it was amazing and just got a request from a friend who is struggling to get a turkey on his smoker so I'm looking forward to helping with that.

So far this weekend I've done ribs and after work today, got a butt and wings planned.

Looks like a good start. Are the times right in your photos? Did that butt cook in 3 hours?

It did, it was only about 3 pounds. It was on sale the day before it's sell by date so it was $2.50, figured it was worth trying out.

It was to 170deg internal.

Yes it did. It was a pretty small one, about 2.5 lbs.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I was at work and then out of the office and didn't back to it until today.
