i'm not smoking anything, but i'll be making pad thai on my big green egg tonight... i'll start a thread and post pics. first go at this, but i've got my hopes up.

I've got Mr. Johnny Rotisserie visiting for the next few days!! We'll be spinning some meat on the Auspit!
Thus far in the line up is: Tri-Tip, whole chicken, chicken wings in the SpitMate, a rack of spares & a rack of babys and some beef loinback short ribs and possibly a butt... a few other things might make it in there too, we'll just have to see!

We'll be camping in Glacier National Park, so the scenery should be tops too!!

Going to visit my cousin he'll be making ABT's, chicken and fajitas and I'll be sitting back drinking beer. :cool: It's someone else's turn to cook.

Big honkin Black Angus Beef Short Ribs. Second time cooking them, first time not so good. This time I think I can wrestle them to the plate with good results, :idea: will post some pictures next week if all goes well,

Got a fantasy football draft tommorow so a couple butts. Then Sat night 4 more butts 6 racks o spares all for my sunday farmers market gig. The markets are starting to slow down up here in the pacific north wet.

still searching for that magical flavor profile for ribs....so I'm cooking 3 slabs of St. Louis - again...(same thing last weekend). I've cooked more friggin ribs this past year than the law allows and I"ve yet to be satisfied with anything. Everytime I think I've got one that the judges will like, I try it for a couple contests and see how it does and then it's back to the drawing board. Really- I'm just on a quest for the holy grail - "the perfect rib". That's the fun part!

May cook some wangs and thighs too?

Love to see that post from JD about the weekend! A brethren classic indeed. My Sertoma club asked me to bbq for a follow up meeting and gave us 5 very nice brisket flats and two 8-10 butts. We are cooking that tomorrow for a Thursday evening meeting. It was funny, 5 of the guys asked if I would make some of those bacon wrapped sausage/meat ball thingys. Guess what, a hundred Moink balls comming their way as well. Enjoy the weekend brothers and sisters!

Two huge racks of spares (8# total), ABT's, 3# chuckie (experimental mod), all on my UDS. Grilled bourbon glazed peaches (thanks to APL Serious BBQ cookbook) with vanilla ice cream, tater salad, baked beans, my dad's vinegar bbq chicken, Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy, bottle of Riesling, and home brewed sweet tea. AND I CAN'T WAIT. And happy birthday to my brother.
