and said you're coming home with me. I haven't had chuck steaks in years and they were just as delicious as I remembered.

I seasoned them up with a little Bovine Bold and cooked them indirect for about 20-30 min and finished with a reverse sear.

I was going to eat just one and save the other for a sandwich -- that didn't work out so good.

It's a beef rub by Plowboys who also makes Yardbird. Great flavor.

I remember when Chuck Steak was the cheapest cut of meat you could buy. Used to buy roasts and slice them into thick steaks, couldnt ever figure out why they were so cheap.

Now, atleast around here, one of the pricier cuts.

Look Darn Good, gonna smoke a couple just as soon as the wifes morning sickness easies up, she cant stomach the smell of meat smokin at the moment.

Life is hell....

Cooked them on my little Smokey Joe with half a chimney of lump. Thanks for the nice remarks. I'll be cooking chuck steak again soon.
