Hi - guess I'd better introduce myself before I get vaporized off the site. My name is Ann and I hail from northern Illinois. I'm new to smoking & have a Brinkman SKD. Haven't made the mods yet, but since the SO runs a sheet metal shop I shouldn't have too much trouble finding some scrap metal. I've enjoyed reading the archives & learned alot (and laughed alot). I'm sure I'll need some brotherly advice after I get her fired up and seasoned. This is a great site - thanks for letting me join.

Welcome Annfrom the great state of California where you can get anything you desire except decent BBQ(unless of course it's made by one of the brethren!)

I'm glad you came in to the light and we welcome to our humble home.

Hmmm...were women invented in Illinois?
