I recently finished building my trailer cooker and am really enjoying it. I would like to make a blanket cover for the top half of it for the cool weather cooks this fall and winter. Any one have any material suggestions? Something like oven mitten material would probably be good.

I use a welding blanket and a tarp .The blanket doesnt like water so I use the tarp to protect the blanket.

I had a weather proof cover made for it which works very well. I have a few moving blankets that I thought would work. I guess I could get sizes of moving blankets and make a custom cover from them. They have them priced right at Harbor Freight.
I am also going to check out the welding blankets.
