Hey I'm cooking a couple of briskets this weekend for a bunch of friends. I normally inject them with butchers about 4 to 6 hrs. before I throw them on. To save some time I would like to inject them the night before they go on. Will this be to long with the injection? I would like to inject Thursday night and throw on Friday night. Do you guys mix anything with your butchers injection or just the injection by it's self? I normally do just butchers but looking for other suggestions. Thanks

You will be okay doing it over night. We have been adding the Prime Dust to our water for the extra flavor we like.:clap2:

I don't think that it makes much difference when you inject. IMO it doesn't have an effect until you start to cook.

I injected mine about 12 hours in advance and nothing leaked out during that time, it all stayed in the meat.

Right on! It's nice getting info from the man himself. Thank you. You have a very nice product. It's help me take my brisket from ok to pretty good. I'm not anything special just yet but trying to get there. LOL:laugh:

has anyone ever injected some rendered fat back into the brisket after about 8-10hrs or so?
