Well decided to do some Sriracha/orange wings today using the blueberry wood that was given to me. Everything went great nice light blue smoke similer taste I would say to apple. Only had to use one three inch piece to mantain a nice smoke on the Weber kettle. One and a half hours later I had these for lunch. Sweet with heat.

Chicken looks great. Could you tell me how you set up the grill under the foil.

Good looking wings Skidder. Was that a 3" diameter or length and how long did the wood last? One other question, you said taste was similar to apple, is the bueberry wood hard like apple or soft like grapevines?

Great job Skidder, that's nice to know. Was it seasoned or green?

It was set up indirect with foil under the wings to catch the grease. I used a 1" diameter piece of blueberry 3" long. I tried two but there was to much smoke for our taste from what was coming out of the kettle. Thanks all these were great wings.
