Thanks everybody.
I had never even thought about cooking quail before this throwdown came about. They surprised me a little, darker breast meat then I expected and I think it's the shorter cooking time but the meat sticks to the bone a little. They were tasty but a bit of work to eat. But my kids even ate them! Although we did just try to call them "little chickens" in front of the girls. Quail are the little guys that they feed in Grandmas back yard in Arizona. But now I want to try other things I've only heard about like pheasant! I'll keep you posted.
