Thanks for all the great comments. I've been really pissy the last week, working thru lunch and staying after hours to finish. It is better than I ever imagined it to finish out. I need to do this all the time, because when I start on something for myself, I get a flood of orders for cookers so that I don't have time to work on my own stuff. I was most amazed about all the room we have to prep and the AC rocks!! You could hang meat in there. Not to mention the Bose Accoustamass speaker system that will drive you out!! Maden voyage tomorrow. Can't wait to fire the charcoal oven.

We went into battle with it this past weekend and were giving tours every 15 min. :becky: We must have hat 100 people come thru and want to see it. She performed wonderfully!! 41 teams and we finished 8th over all. We had a 3rd place call in pork , a 7th in ribs and 13th in brisket.

We pulled it with Baggs's 1/2 ton with no problems. It's not as heavy as you would think and it is very well balanced. The oven worked great and got me a 6th place finish in the 1 bite wonder category.

We will offer these for sale starting next month. Price is unsure at this point, but I will post when I get all the bills added up. Thanks for all the great comments. It was alot of hard work, but well worth the effort.:thumb:

I dunno. Looks kind of risky. I wouldn't buy one unless it underwent extensive consumer testing first.

Tell you what, I will borrow it for a season or two. Maybe three. Test it all out. It's the only safe thing to do. PM me.

Cooking chamber is sealed off. No smoke gets in the cooking chamber and there is a 3/4 inch baking stone in the bottom to distribute the heat evenly. It works great!!

$46,000 sounds about right
If you search BBQ Vending Trailers
Man they can go WELL beyond 46
So 34 with a open porch

Jay could you start a thread with
pictures and details about the
charcoal oven?

spicewine
05-11-2010, 04:18 PM
Sure Thom. There are only 2 in existance and I have one of them. They are great to cook pizzas on!! I cooked some bacon wrapped crab stuffed shrimp in it for the anything but category last weekend. Really a neat piece of equiptment to have. It is also legal to cook comp meats on since it's charcoal fired.

ThomEmery
05-11-2010, 04:21 PM

The Oven how hot can you get that bad boy?

Chick-N-Pig has had his up to 450. I cooked the stuffed shrimp at 350.
