Any Pictures of a good or Bad Reverse flow Design?

I am in the process of building a 140 gal propane smoker. I think I am leaning towards Reverse flow.

Will post some pics later. I am going to try and finish the doors up today.

My plans in simple terms were to weld a steel plate along the bottom of the tank with an escape on the opposite side of the exhaust.

thats right. Exhaust on same side as firebox

You can put square landscaping stepping stones, bricks , lava rocks, or even sand on top of the steel plate to act as a heat sink worked great on my old pit
