Enjoy the video. I couldn't turn it off. Kinda like a car wreck, you don't wanna see it but you just can't help it. I wonder why I couldn't stop staring?

WOW!!! a 100 year old boiled rib recipe with store bought sauce. I am surprised they kept that under lock and key for so long.
Dem Olí Goofy people could have sold that for millions.

I got as far as scrum-diddly-umptious and couldn't watch any more.

Boils ribs, uses store bought sauce and says scrum-diddly-umptious. A classic triple threat.

Did any of you see the comments below the video? I thought this one was UNBELIEVABLE:

My mom makes ribs the same way but she soaks them in orange soda for awhile which tenderizes the meat a lot.

With the equipment that redhead is blessed with, I doubt you or me would do much more than shake our heads yes when she advised us how to cook them ribs. I know I'd agree with most things she said. :becky:

That's Sweet Baby Rays. Pause at 2:00 exactly, she's got a fresh bottle next to the pot. Sad to see a waste of good sauce.

sounds like my Grandmother's (rest her soul) recipe for most meats... boil, boil, boil.

You don't imagine the redhead got this from some old Irish relative?

I would have at least saved the water she boiled them in. It would have made a good pot of pork dumplins so it would not have been a total loss.

I had to go back to watch the rest of the mayhem... and to see what I missed at 1:52 :becky:

I think this excerpt from the video's creator sums it all up:

"I think this recipe is more for the texture of the meat, not the flavor. "

Huh?? Poor lost soul...

Everyone bitchin' and moanin' about boiled ribs. I bet if you were over at her house, and she were bouncin' around making you those scrum-diddly-umptious things, and telling you how good they are, not a single one of you would be complaining about anything. You would eat those ribs, you would enjoy the company, and you probably wouldn't even mind too much that she probably touched the whole kitchen with raw pork hands -- well, that was pretty yechy -- and believe it or not, if you can't admit it here to anyone else, deep down inside you would know that they tasted good. I'm not saying they taste as good as smoked or BBQed ribs, but they certainly taste better than the fast food chit that more than half of you crammed into your mouths for lunch today that you're not afraid to admit that you like to sample "on occasion" -- won't touch a boiled rib, but give me my double McWhopper with bacon and cheese.
