An eventful few days

My son (16) had a pretty good stretch. Got his drivers license Friday :scared:, completed his first smoker Saturday, completed the inaugural cook and first solo trip with a friend into town on Sunday. Anyone driving around NE North Carolina or SE Virginia beware!

Here is the UDS painted NC State colors. I have a wolfpack bottle opener that I have to find for him to add + logo magnets. It held a steady 200 almost all day long on the seasoning run. This one had a particularly tough liner so he had to burn a couple of times and the wire wheel work was tough but he stuck it out and "earned" it...

We broke it in with a fatty and some ABTs

Then finished the day with some chicken legs that we smoked then finished over high heat on the weber.
