Passover was okay, but the food was...well...lets just say no one here would have liked it. Resident big boy thought he would do the brisket. I was trying to get the GO on the brisket but he is the "man". My guess is it was crock potted or something. Whatever he did it was similar to shoe leather he then attempted to mask that with some nasty sauce. The average person just doesnt know what real food is.

Long story short, thanks to Costco i finally feel happy about my holiday meal. I was temped to go over to a friends house and steal some ham or something(yea yea, bad jew). I needed something, and costco came through.

I posted extra pictures of fire because im one hell of a fire bug:). That was a pic of my daughters piece. She is one hell of a carnivore. Brings a tear to my eye. She is only 9 and will put away a 12 ounce steak. Must be all the running we do. Nice and medium rare for the win. Thank you costco. Hope you all enjoy.

Passover was all i was going to do to the meat section at costco until the blue tray caught my attention. This is honestly the first time i saw prime at costco, and i check every time. It was at modesto off pelandale to be exact. I saw you were from stockton. Fresno, merced, and turlock have always been a no go. This was my first time in modesto since i bought my wife flowers after we had our son, almost 5 years ago.

Wow, that is disappointing to here, I have never been to a Passover where bad brisket was served. Sure, the last one had a female God and Eve was the original human, and there was a Gaia figure, but, the brisket was tasty.

As soon as i pulled them off the flame i had a stick of butter that i just wiped on both sides. it helps seal in the flavor. I saw gordon ramsay do it and thought i would give it a try.

I forgot to add a few things. It was the best tasting NY ever. Im normally not a fan of NY(rib eyes had me at hello every time), but this was prime so i had to try it. Ive never had prime before and this was better than ANY choice rib eye i ever made.

I also used STUBBS(my favorite charcoal). I wanted to make sure it was a clean tasting bbq, no added CRAP.

Thanks for looking guys. Ill be checking out that costco once a week if i can get yummy tasting cuts like that

Passover is another reason to BBQ and grill more for a week in the spring. Brisket and Prime Rib were my main focus last week.

Standing rib roast from raleys will be dinner tomorrow. They are still on sale for 4.57/lb. Gonna pick up a 3bone and make some magic happen.
