im doing a turkey on the drum sunday, and a couple family members came up with the idea to do a ham on there as well. i was all for the idea until they showed up with a crappy pre-cooked "football" ham. yuck.

so my question to the brethren is: what could i do to help out the ham, and should i cook it for a long time, or just heat it like you normally would? if cooked for a while, will it get tender and juicer, or just dry out and make it even worse? maybe inject some creole butter or bacon grease?

I would just reheat it to eating temp. This glaze may help it out a bit:

Maybe you could double wrap it in foil; with a few slices of Pineapple &
some brown sugar.
And like Kevin said....just warm it up...since it's already cooked.
