Pork Belly, to cut or not to cut before smoking?

I'm getting my pork belly Monday when my orders in and I was wondering if I should cut it before or after smoking? My brother said before but will that mess up on the cooking time?

Don't cut.

don't cut, unless the skin is on, in which case you might want to remove the skin.

And thank you guys, So cut it after it smokes 20 hours at 200*f?
