I asked my Dad what he wanted for his 81st birthday which was on March 4th.
He smiled and said, muscles in a lite tomato sauce and some home made Italian bread to soak up all the sauce.
I figured, why stop there, so, I also made five pounds of Shrimp Scampi, two pounds of Rissoto Milanese, a big tray of Focaccia which was topped with sauteed onions,
black olives, fresh rosemary, olive oil, and course salt. He really enjoyed the meal and all his grand children.
