I'm looking to buy an electric meat slicer and wondering what some of you out there have been using and what you like/dislike about them and what you'd recommend to me.

I like the Chef's Choice 662 & 667 but I'd like to stay around $200... I will primarily be slicing bacon, roast beef and pastrami, just for the family, not any big productions.

Thanks!!

I just picked up a 610 on amazon for 99.00(i paid 39, but thats another story). I used to once thus far for a pastrami and it worked very well. Clean up was less than 10 minutes and very thorough.

With that, i wouldnt doubt any model above the 610 to be a bad choice but i can only speak for the 610. Ill have a few more pastramis to try this week so ill let you know how those go.

I'll second the Chefs Choice 610. I've had it for 4 years and and no problems.
