Howdy there my fellow Brethren's. I attended a conference last week and while walking through the vender booths, I came across a booth sponsered by the 3M company. They were displaying a variety of shooting safety goggles. In the back row I noticed a pair of glasses that had some really weird things on both sides of the arms. I asked the rep what these glasses were for and he said for working out in the dark, that these weird things were actually mini flashlights. He turned them on and I was really surprised how bright these lights were. I asked him what applications someone would use these for and told me several examples but the one which surprised me the most is when he said " they are great for grilling at night ". As soon as he said this the bright light went on in my brain and I told him I had to have a pair and asked where I could purchase a pair of these. This rep was fantastic and told me he would send me a pair to test at my job. Well I plan on trying them at work but my primary use is going to be, HMMMM let me see, could it be grilling, smoking at night, well you're right. I used them tonight for grilling my brats and they were amazing. My grill is in a poorly lit section of my deck and I normally had to take a flashlight to check my product while grilling. Not anymore, these glasses worked fantastic and I plan on using these glasses anytime I cook at night. I checked online and they sell for around $12 bucks and the light last for over 50 hours and the battery is even replaceable. I have attached some photos of these along with the actual package they came in. The pair the 3M rep sent me is the bifocal type with reader lens. He must of noticed me putting on my reader specs when I was at the booth. But they sell them without the bifocal. Check out the prons and just google search for them. good luck

It was probably a re-gift, but a buddy gave me a Kobalt tools baseball cap with a bunch of LEDs in the bill. I used to go headlamp for night grilling but this works pretty good and doesn't look as dorky. No idea on cost.

I have a Craftsman hat with four LEDs in the brim. Works great for night Q'n and I use it often for those late night dog walks in the dark. Helps me collect a bag full.
