Took some Japs and split em, gutted them, filled with cream cheese and mini link sausage and wrapped them in bacon...put some of my pork rub on em and threw em on the smoker. 1.5 hours later I took my first bite. I thought I was in Heaven! That is until I bit into one that still had some seeds in it...WHOA! Now I know why they are called ATOMIC. nephew loved them as well.

Nice job! I love ABT's. Last time I made them I made about 20 (Japs were halved like yours). I ate at least 10 of them with no bad effects!

I remember the first time I made Stuffed Peppers. My wife and I went down to a fresh produce market here in Houston on Airline Drive that is dirt cheap. (Right behind Canino's for those of you in Houston.) Anyway, we picked up two sacks full..I'd guess at least 20 -25 for about 4$. Back then I was in an apt. with a small kitchen...(whole place was under 700 square feet) and I start coring the Jalapenos...Oh man....the heat was so bad that as my friends arrived half of them couldn't hold back the caughs...and a few even got wattery eyes! Now that's a fresh Jalapeno!

And please, no PRON of tomorrow at 4 AM. We will still believe you!:-D

I'd hit them ABTs hot and fast.

Now you can experiment with different types of peppers and fillings. Poblanos make for a great ABT.

I've done habaneros and jalapenos and believe you me, there is a god and it comes to me in the form of a HOT pepper stuffed with hot italian sausage and slowly grilled or smoked. Try em - Mexican War bullets kick ABTs butts all the way down the hill. And you can Park that!

Hey, Nick, your Mexican War bullets sound a lot like some of my ABTs. Do you still wrap them in bacon?

Last summer, I stuffed some habaneros with chedder cheese and a crumbled fatty made out of Hot Sausage, wrapped in bacon. Wonderful. Hot.

Hey Dan, no siree bob, no Bacon, nuthin but meat and veggie heat.

I don't have any recent pictures but aim to do some real soon. Cut the tops of the pepper stuff with HOT italian sausage (recipe's on my site) stand them up like rifle bullets to cook. Simple. Easy. Heaven. Or as we say... Park it! Grill it! Eat it!

I make mine with shrimp. As Im not a huge fan of Japs I can smoke some stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon at the same time.

Nice ABTs! I've gotta try the habaneros now too.

The best shrimp on the ParkAQ I've ever tasted result from the Spanish-Asian conflicts which gave the world beautiful people blended cultures and marvelous cuisine. Simply states its a fusion of shrimp jabaneros or Japs, sweetness soyness, garlicness & flavorful greens. Bacon was not in that war, probably not invented yet.

Did you ParkAQ today did ya? Huh?
