I was in Costco down in Jacksonville and they had quite an inventory of USDA Prime beef. It included who NY Strips and boneless whole rib roasts plus a some already cut into steaks. If I was not unemployed I might would have sprung for some but a $100 piece of meat is not in the budget.

I also got a new book for Christmas. 103 Uses for Your Turkey Fryer is a spiral bound book of 103 recipes. I would give it four stars out of five. Don't read the rib recipe. I don't think I will come in possession of maple sap to boil down into syrup. All in all there are some good recipes including some for flavored fried turkeys.

The Costco here seems to typically run about 70% choice and 30% prime, and the exact items they have with prime shift around so over time there's all kinds of goodies available.

I'm unemployed too so I don't even get within sight of Costco. I can't walk out of there without dropping at least one c-note and if they have crab legs one sale fughetaboutit.
