I get them through my food distributor. You would have to drive to Ventura. PM if interested. They are Austrailian Waygu Packers.

I have seen it for sale on occasion at Andronico's Supermarkets, Enzo's Meats in Oakland and one other place I cannot remember. I have bought from Yamamoto Beef in Texas by mail order and that was good. It was a little cheaper than Lobel's.
edit: VerBrugge meats in Oakland is another place you might contact.

id be interested to try one of them from www.snakeriverfarms.com, honestly, it works out to about 6 bucks a pound shipped, and i had a local butcher try and charge me 5 something a pound, for cryo-ed choice. Even the local RD is about 3-4 bucks a pound.

Shouldn't be. I use the one on Melville, Garden City and Mt. Vernon and they all charge about 2$ a pound for choice. Drop that Bohemia branch on its ear. lol

Unfortunately, their Wagyu is up to $4.25 a pound, and it's currently out of stock. I would definitely check back there though. http://www.paradisemeats.com/beef
