Need some advice brothers, thinking about injecting turkey with some jalapeno and butter before putting on the smoker.... Do you think it will dry the turkey out by puncturing the meat...... Thanks in advance

No, it wont dry out from injecting it. just dont overcook it. I have cooked 5 breasts in the last week and i brined and injected them all. Everyolne one of them came out perfect, juicy and flavorful. I use a beer and butter injection....

Sauced I was thinking about injecting it, and get the smoker about 250-275 about 30 min. a #...... After about 5-6 hours put it in a roasting bag to finish, and keep moist..... What do you think??? All input is appreciated...

Sooner,
First off......Boomer Sooner. I'm a huge fan of brining and I think that's all that needs to be done. It swells the cells with juices and impregnates the meat with flavor. If you brine right there's no need to inject.
