Ya ever get a taste for a plain old hamburger? I usually put on the dog about burgers. I make bacon weaves (well, I did this time too but burned the damn thing). Stuff the burgers with peppers, cheese, onion and garlic. Not today, I just wanted a burger. So I mixed the seasonings in with the ground beef (Todd's Dirt and Stubb's Burger Rub), put it on the OTS indirect with two very small pieces of Mesquite. Then I noticed some Bar S Hot Sausages and a pkg. of bacon that looked lonely. So I wrapped the suasage in bacon and put them on the grill, added the doomed bacon weave and had at it. Indirect for about 30 mins, then I dumped the fuel basket, spread the coals and finished searing the burger and crisping the bacon. A can of Ranch Style Beans made a gresat side.
You can tell by the last pic that it went quick; I was hungry! Thx for lookin in!

You guys did not read my post. Those are Bar S Brand Sausages (Hot style). I actually smoked two of those for Monday's lunch to be reheated in micro. Oh yeah, it's Milk.
Thx for all the kudo's folks!

Man that looks good. Sometimes simplicity is best. I never fix a fancy burger. Just a good 'ol hunk of meat. I actually prefer mine in a cast iron skillet and only resort to the grill when doing multiples.
