He gave me some backstrap also. I never cooked this but it looked wonderful. Wanted to add some moisture, so I cut a slit and stuffed it with Onion, Garlic and bell pepper.

Great looking venison Scott! Looks like you cooked it perfect...a little pink in the middle. Nice job. :-D

My cousin just gave me some backstap and 2 hindquarters today. I'm going to cook the backstrap tomorrow. Never done one either. Thanks for the post.

Wow! Now that's worth some homebrew! On your first thread, for just ground meat, seems like the other guy got the better deal..Great job! Looks perfect!
