Not grilled or smoked, but did a little "low country boil" .....Potatoes,smoked hot sausage, corn and shrimp.....made it late in the day, after a "few" too many....forgot to pull the shrimp boil packets out of the plated product.....

Beautiful looking spread. I got a turkey fryer years ago. Never have fried a turkey, sure makes some great low country boils though.

Middle tongs are pointing at a piece of meat. What it is?

Looks great! Throw some blue crab and some crawdads in there with some raw oysters on the side and I'll fly in for the event.

That looks great! We do about the same thing but with salmon instead of shrimp. Salmon are plentful in Michigan, shrimp are not!

That's just some "shrimp boil" spices in mesh bag....normally pull those out after I dump from pot but some beer and brown liquor "clouded" my judgement

For those that have not tried it it's a crowd pleaser and EASY!

I absolutely LOVE doing these!!! We do one every year in January for my husband's birthday along with an oyster roast, draws people in from miles away!
Yum! I want one now!!!

Question...the packets...We tried them, didn't get enough flavor, turned to Zatterain's Shrimp and Crab Boil powder instead....gave it a ton more kick and flavor...Just wondering if you'd tried it or maybe I did something wrong with those bags but it was like nothing was there....

Besides the packets I use some liquid Shrimp boil, I thinks its called "Swamp Fire", and some Old Bay....has a "kick"....

I don't use anything but a LOT of Old Bay Seasoning and pepper. Add a little butter to the boil and the shrimp will suck the dry seasoning up under the shell.
