I'm probably nuts, but I like cooking during the cold months. I actually prefer going out while it's cold to tend to the cookers than in the heat of the summer. While I do not particularly LIKE cold weather (especially bitter cold), I really seem to enjoy running my smokers in that weather.

Now for the weirdest part. In January and February when the weatherman is predicting the coldest morning of the year, I always plan a cook that day. It doesn't always work out to actually be the coldest day of the year, but I'm out there. I don't know why I do this, I know the challenge of making good Q in weather many think is impossible to Q in is part of it, but I do it anyways and thought I would share for some reason.

I guess I'm farking nuts.

The way the weather has been lately, this could be a very good fall/winter of cooking for me.

Maybe that's why I always used to enjoy going to the Beach on Christmas and grilling on the park Grills under the Palm trees while the other half baked on the White sand, and the Kids played in the Gulf....
