I have a couple more Ribeye's left. My wife likes the Italian dressing, so I started Marinating one steak last night. Was going to cook this evening.

Forgot I had to meet up at a restaurant for dinner tonight.

If I let the steak Marinade for 48 hours will it be mushy? Should I leave it alone or pour off the Marinade and be okay until tomorrow night? Or do I need to cook it tonight regardless?

Get rid of the marinade, rinse and cook. Still might be mush, but at least you have a chance of something edible.

Cook em as hot as you can and only flip once. They'll be great. One mans opinion.

Honestly marinating any cut of steak has never ever crossed my mind. What is it like? I can't even imagine the taste

Rinse it off, dry it good, back in the fridge till tomorrow. :icon_sick

Only put salt and pepper on your steak right before searing it.

Let the wife try them both.

Hopefully that will be the end of it

Oooh, I have a question, why in the world would anyone marinate a ribeye? I cook meat because I like meat. If I had a taste for salad dressing, I would have a salad. :-D

Hope it turns out edible. Good luck.

You will have Mush if you leave it in the dressing for 48 hours.
I would what Big Brother Smoke advises.

That suckers toast I'm afraid. I would still cook it up anyway unless you have to pour it out of the bag.

I agree. Ribeye is great without a marinade, just seasoning.
