I went camping again last weekend. This little lake doesn't have camp sites so I brought my tractor rim for cooking.

I put my biscuits in an oiled foil pie pan, top with another pan and wrap the whole thing in foil to hold them together. Then I flip them for even cooking.

Fried some spuds and onions, and browned my spicy hot sausage...

Thank you everbody! I woulda shared with you. :-D

Ashmont, I was camping again... over Labor Day weekend. I went fishing. :-D

The sausage gravy is really easy. I use spicy hot bulk sausage. Jimmy Dean is a good brand. After it browns just add a couple of tablespoons of flour, then salt and cracked black pepper. Add milk and simmer until bubbly.
The spices in the hot sausage are enough flavoring, I do not add anything else.
It's an easy breakfast to make in the morning after you stay up around the campfire too late the night before.:biggrin:

Thank you again everybody. You're all welcome at my campfire anytime.

Did Meat Burner just offer to do dishes? LOL.

Looks awsome as usual Cowgirl!
But how do you time everything to be done at the same time? Best I can ever do is hope the first done don't burn / dry-out B4 the rest is cooked.

Sign my wife and I up for Cowgirl Cookin' School! Heck, we'll even help fix a well pump, mend fences, whatever.

FirecrackerJack..you're welcome. :)
Thank you Larry, Sterling, JP and Jedi!
Neighbor, I'd be happy to do the camp cookin' if you cut the firewood for me.
Mike, I love fruit.... guess you can tell. lol
Steve, it seems like the potatoes take the longest, whether they are sliced for frying or baked whole. I always start them first. lol Well....unless I'm simmering a pot of beans. They take all day. :)
Shoot, if you fix my windmill pump next time it gives me trouble, I'd be happy! .... okay, fixing fence would be nice too.
Toploader, thank you!! :)
