look what i found on my doorstep after work! thanks rolf! 8)

bootsie says it fits on the plate setter, lets try it in the egg and season it up with some pepper bacon!

stay tuned for further testing in the next month.

tonight, i removed one section with tongs and added cherry chips prior to cooking the sausage. worked pretty well.

that was about 5 minutes on the bacon

Dang! What started out as a cheap UDS build a few days ago is looking like it might get expensive. Love the way cast iron cooks! Great job cookin' and picture takin' Rick.

can you believe that? :roll: i tried the thirdhand, but the tongs kept my hand further away from the heat. still experimenting...... looks like i'll be needing a threefinger for this grate.

I met the guy making/selling these at River City Roundup contest in Omaha this weekend. Making an order for one this week.
