The Mulberry Bush...

Guy at work gave me some seasoned chunks from his Mulberry tree.

Mulberry has a nice, sweet smell. Parrothead calls it the "cotton candy wood".

Ooo, that mulberry tree in the backyard had better get nervous. My gawd, I just realized it needs a real hard trimming!

We have a huge stack here in front of the garage. It's hard like mesquite, and is hell on chainsaws. Sweet smoke with good flavor. If you need more, just let me know, Pat.

Well here is the goods for tonight. 3 slabs, 3 Tri Tips, Doctored potatoe salad, Beans, Rolls. Wife also kicking down with a watermelon from her garden. Liked the mild wood taste. Shane I'll take you up on your offer.

Those are fine looking ribs, and when I bought my maple there was a piece of mulberry in it. Was going to check to see if my wood guy's got any more. Any preference in what you smoke with it?
