I made Zydeco Paws (No Excuses BBQ blog owner) pulled chicken as part of a small BBQ catering event and it was very easy to cook a bigger amount in a shorter time frame than using whole chickens. We were able to do 30 thighs on a large big green egg in 90+ minutes so you should be fine.

I plan on doing 30# of leg quarters for pulled chicken Saturday, for our family picnic Sunday, and doing it in less than 2 hours. I'll post pics sat night...

Our Vallarta market sells chicken leg meat. The stuff is great, already pulled off the bone. I get it when it is on sale at .99. People love sandwichs out of it. Makes my life easier.

Gee, I suppose you could have sent me a PM; I would have eventually responded...

As others have noted, it's pretty easy to do these in under two hours. I made a batch on the kettle the other night at higher temps and had them done in less than an hour. If anyone is interested in the recipe, you can find it here (http://noexcusesbbq.com/recipes/pulled-chicken).

Thanks for the promo LT!
