It's Friday night and I'm bored...

I've seen ABT's, Fatties, Piggles, etc., etc....

Show me more!

C'mon Brethren, lessen my boredom!

What is the craziest, wierdest thing you have ever smoked?

(and I'm not talking about that stuff in the lil' baggie that Phubar sprinkles on his brownies!)

Smoke a pair of tongs one time. They never did get tender.

GreasePig, buddy of mine conned me into trying some fresh caught perch. Now I know how they make cardboard.

15 lbs of bluefish for my Pop and I hate blue fish!
I wrapped everything in foil, it took a bag of charcoal just to burn off the smell.

Me and my buddy Mark did one maybe 10 years ago it was the first thing either of us ever smoked. It actually wasn't bad If a guy had some skills I reckon it could be real, real good. Our only ingredients were a beef tongue an el cheapo smoker from a work rewards program and lots and lots of beer nope, not even salt and pepper LOl. I like it when its really thinly sliced and grilled with a little yakiniku sauce for dipping. So I'd say you would be working with a potential winner. Do it!

Goat's not wierd round here either, and as for the rabbit. we raise'em and eatem so i get to dispatch of them as the kids are to little to stun them and the wife "only cooks food" but we do our own pigs and turckeys and chickens and anything else we come across..

As for anythng else you may or may not have posted about I plead the fifth

its not what I smoked that was weird but what it turned out to be. My first attempt was in my first offset char broil cheapy smoker. I grabbed a turkey didnt pull all of the guts out, built one mother of a fire and threw it in. I belive it cooked around 450 to 500 degrees for around 7 or 8 hours and when it was done it looked like adam sandlers foot in mr deeds. for those of you who dont know what Im talking about check the link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVbqKOYBh5I

A week ago I smoke a de-boned hind quarter of a Whitetail Deer. Mustard, dry rub, wrapped bacon around it, smoked it for 7 hours, wrapped it in foil and left it in the smoker another 3 hours. Came out tender and tasty!
