I have a 4 pound loin to cook this weekend. What is the best method to cook it? From what I can gather loins don't do slow and low real well because of the low fat content. I have had hits and misses on past loins. I did a search and found where it mentioned Bill's tk method, but didn't find where the method was explained. I have tried to get into the recipe section but since I don't have 35 post it gives me a link to follow. Where it sends me is not to the recipe section. Can anyone describe Bill's tk method? Thanks in advance.

Funny you ask, I just watched a bbqu show this morning where he did a whole loin. Looked easy and turned out pretty. Heres the link to the recipe:

I have done them Low and slow and made Pulled pork out of them. I just did it like a butt then wrapped in foil and 1/2 a coke at about 165 then took it to 200 did the "Probe feels like butter test" let it rest an hour or 2 then pulled it. Came out really good.

grill each side for 3 minutes and then repeat the cycle twice. Should be done in 45 minutes. let sit for 10 minutes, slice like bread, eat.

All under 1 hour.

That recipe looked a little heavy on the seasonings for me. A lot of salt. I did use the glaze tonight on some butterflied chops cut from a whole pork loin. Did the butterfly cut. Seasoned the chops with Magic Dust. Very nice. Sweet, just watch it very closely at the end, the sugar will burn quick as a flash.

Yep, I know no pics, zip the lip. My Bride had them in hand and heading to the neighbor's house hot off of the grill. The neighbors have a new 2 day old baby, and that was her reason to go over there. I did not get in her way.
