Has anyone tried one of these lump reducing rings?

so for works great for the xl - using a lot less charcoal since I bought it

I have one and it is great. What I like about it on the XL is being able to use a full size XL grid and placing items to the outside of it for an indirect type cook. It also works perfect if you are using cast iron as you can get real close to the fire.

I still have plans to get one for my XL.. but more often than not I use my mediums for grilling and the XL for long cooks.
