I picked a a big top round yesterday at restaurant depot.
My original idea was to smoke it like a Chuckie.
has anyone done a top round as BBQ? do you think it's
to lean to make good BBQ? Any thoughts would be great.
thanx in advance

it's too lean in my opinion. but, it's great for making jerky.
i'd stick w/ a chucky for pulled beef etc.

I like to get top or bottom round and smoke it til about 130 and slice thin for samiches. Either that or like stated above it is good for jerky too.

Either the jerky, or go for some Italian Beef sammiches.
