I've found them for about 40$. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Keep thinking I will get a better deal. I'm also seen a dolly that holds two drums. I'm leaning that way!

The JunkYard can be your Friend....Total Cost.......$10.00 bucks and some Sweat...

Here's the Breakdown of my Custom DrumBuggy:

The Main Base of the Washer Deck was too narrow for Drum Support on each side so I cut the lip from the deck sides to accommodate addition of Channel Iron Extensions/Axle Mounts and bolted it securely to deck along with two larger shoulder bolts on either side that secure DrumPit to frame. The heads of the shoulder bolts lock down upon the outside lip of the Drum Bottom.

Keeping it nice and slip free when I lift up front of Buggy for travel.

H-F used to have them for $19.00,
Then discontinued them. Dunno why, something about a recall.

I just buy swivel casters from harbor freight and tack weld them to the bottom. Have made several for folks and they seem to like them.

What about using one of those square movers dolly's with the castors?

I think I got one for about $15 or so.

A hand truck (dolly) might also work for you.

I've got a few sets of BIG casters I bought at a swap meet once. But when it came to the UUDS I decided to go with the two-wheeled hand-truck design. Harbor Freight wheel & tire assemblies seems to be on sale all the time for $5 or so. The pro is it's very stable and will not move when being tended. The con is you cannot move it during use because you have to tip it back on the wheels. I'm pretty happy with this mobility method and will use it again on my next build.

This is what I use to move my 2 UDS around. It also comes in handy for lugging mulch and fertilizer to the back yard, when not using it for the UDS's. It is sturdy and not bad for the price.

About half the cost for a cheap hand truck. And you also get a hand truck.
