View Full Version : Pulled pork and first Chuckie.

Fired the pit up this morning with some good ole' mesquite wood that my cuz gave me. Rubbed the pork with Lantana's South Texas All Purpose seasoning and the chuck with Zach's Texas Sweet Rub. Cooked at 225F, took the pork to 190F and took the chuck to 205F, then foiled in a cooler for an hour with a bit of fresh squeezed pineapple juice.

These pictures are not the best, but you can get the idea. All in all the chuckie turned out great.

I'm sure it turned out great despite pic quality..

That second pic looks real cool. Classic.

Even with the rough pic quality though you can still tell that looks like some mighty tasty meat. I have to get me some of those claws.

Those claws were a great investment and make pulling pork and chuckies a breeze. They were less than $10 on ebay.

I am pizzed at my camera...don't know what happened.

I have 2 pairs of those claws... could give Jack Scheet some but maybe not...
