Wifey and I really like mac & cheese and cheesy potatoes in the cast iron on the weber. That great crust all around is just fantastic. Picked this up today at Bass Pro and have done a couple one hour in the oven, then one hour to rest, then bacon grease again and back in the oven. Starting to look real good. Anyway, this is for biscuits but will be doing some mac & cheese real soon. Any brethren have on of these they use? Thanks for any advise.

I don't have one but with my CI, if I use it on the grill, when I am done cooking I open the vents and put it in the grill for an hour or so, it keeps them in good shape.

Pork Smoker, sounds like a good idea. I really try to take of my CI as it is best cookware a person can own. My children will own it some day.
Que-Dawg, I have high expectations for this CI. A couple years ago we fired up the weber and the wife mixed up some fantastic cheezy taters she makes. We did them in the CI and boy howdy!!! They had crust all the way around. You could slice it almost like a piece of pie and we call it fired cheese taters. Tried the same thing with her mac & cheese recipe.....AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

That sure looks like a great addition to the cast iron arsenal.

I'm sure you will like your pan, especially if you are like me and not that comfortable rolling out dough.
