Had a hankering for a sandwich today and thought I would share.

First a loaf of bread cut in half and spread with butter and garlic powder and sent to get warm under the broiler. Anybody Know where this is going?

Then some mozzerella cheese melted on top. Come on ya gotta know where this is going.

So if you know where this is going you know that the next thing to go on the bread is, a rack of ribs (I used spares) bones removed and then some onions sauteed with butter, beer and Jack Daniels BBQ sauce topped with more cheese and back under the broiler to warm up. Bread got a little to toasty but still moving forward.

Put top on bottom and cut.

Pfft...

Thats not a sammie. You gotta have processed pasteurized chesse slices and pressed ham like mine.

Yours would do in a pinch, I guess.

Man, those sandwiches look good. Do you guys just pull the bones at the end or maybe foil up the ribs and let go just a tad longer so the bones kind of pop out in the foil? What's the best and easiest way to get the bones out without tearing up the rack?

Tom is probably taking a "nap" after eating all that, but the way to get the bones out is first - make sure that you have pulled the membrane off before cooking said ribs. Second - after cooking flip the slab over to the meat side down position, take a sharp knife & score the skin right over the bones then wiggle them out.

That sandwich looked awesome! Care to come over and show me how to do it, may take a few tries, but I am there for you.
