i made these today on top of the moinkballs :biggrin:
bacon with dizzy pig jamaican firewalk smoked with jack daniels oak barrel chips

Just ordered 5 more for my cold smoker. Love them.
Pat, you're far more knowledgeable than I on matters of metallurgy but isn't chromium plating just as bad as galv? I guess it would have to get really hot like 800* or so before releasing bad chit.
I'm not trying to scare anyone (Rick :shock: ). These racks are meant for steam applications so 200-300* should be fine. I've always steered clear of any plated metals that will contact food inside the smoker. Maybe I'm a little too cautious.
On that note, I'll be ordering four :biggrin: Thanks for the link.
