Great idea! But gotta have really high heat in the egg to brown the meringue. Can't leave BA in too long or the ice cream will melt. Usually only the broiler element is used when using the oven.

What is it - I see the meringue. What's inside?

Baked Alaska: Dessert made with cake bottom, ice cream filling and topped with meringue. Simple and dramatic. I love food pr*n!
